Kelly Brannan Condolence November 26, 2007
My newphew died at the age of 21. Just a few years ago around this time of year before xmas. He jumped over a rail to the Los Alamos bridge. That is when we found out he was taking anti-depressants and the mixture of drugs he was perscribed was not correct and that these drugs cause people to have suicidal thoughts. These drugs need to be discontinued and should no longer be used. My condolences to you and your family. We feel your pain...Good bless you all.
Judy M. Lafore Condolence November 26, 2007

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. I took an anti-depressant for 3 days and I sat in my bathtub with a razor to my wrist, it was mothers day and I was crying and stopped myself called a friend and tossed the pills in the toliet. I will never take or give any of this stuff to my family.

Pamela Edmondson Condolence November 26, 2007
Milke,
My sincere condolences. As a mental health therapist specializing in grief, I can only imagine the extent of your suffering and I honor your resilience as evidenced by the below mentioned project.

May you and your family have peace and blessings during the holiday season and beyond.

Sean Remington Best wishes for healing... November 25, 2007

Camille:

My deepest sympathy to you and the rest of Sarina's friends and family.  This website you have created is very touching - a testament of how seriously your heart has been broken.  Sarina's contagious smiling and good heart have clearly been a blessing to you the last 21 years.  May they bring you joyful memories for the many years to come.  Sarina has left behind a beautiful little girl who needs your love in the absence of her mother.  May God bless you with the extreme strength you need to carry on.  When I experienced a similar event of devastating grief 13 years ago, the only things that got me through were a deck of cards, a very good friend, and lots of time.  I wish you the very best in your grieving, coping, and healing process!

Tom and Tammy Byrd Sadness November 25, 2007
Camille;
Sorry to hear about your loss.  I will go and sign the petition.
But first let me tell you about the joy you brought to our lives.
Better yet just take a look.
Ricky was the best Christmas present I ever bought.  Leo, the Chow he
replaced, lived another 6 months.  It has been quite an experience.
He is a lover boy, with us.  Or at least with Tam all the time.  He
will still bang me with his teeth if I play to aggressively with him.
And, Lucy the Lab, was the perfect replacement for Puppy C.
Thank you for Leo and so sorry to hear about your daughter.
Some day I would like to bring Ricky over for you to see, if it is okay.

I did not know your sweet daughter but I know the pain you are feeling. I lost my sister to suicide from anti-depressants a year ago. I can't say that the feeling of loss goes away but, soon you will feel a special light in your heart. This light, is her love she always will have for you. That will never go away.

God Bless,

Nancy Ulibarri

Kelly condolence November 25, 2007

Camille,

I am signing your petition today. I am so sorry for your loss. It was only two years ago I had lost my nephew to anti-depressant drugs. It was around this time of year near Christmas.

It was a big shock to us. My nephew was missing for two days. He also was 21 years old. He was in college and doing very well, we never knew anything about him being depressed. We got a call from a police officer who told us that they found my nephew under a bridge in Las Alamos, NM.  He had jumped over the railing one night and killed himself. It was hard to believe since he was afraid of heights and all. We then found out he was on a mixture of anti-depressants that cause suicide thoughts in many people. We could only identify him with his drivers license in his pocket. It was and is still very hard for us to handle every Christmas not having him with us.

We feel your pain and our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. I will be glad to stand by your side and fight with you to get rid of these drugs. They are not the answer to solving ANYONE's Problems.

Alex Kreis Condolence November 25, 2007
Hi Camille,

I am so terribly sorry to hear about this.  I signed your petition.

Another website you should know about is www.cchr.org.  I don't know if you
have a chapter in Albuquerque, but I have done some volunteering for this group
in California in the Bay Area and we believe the same thing about these terrible
drugs.

I have first-hand experience of friends who have taken these drugs and then
committed suicide.  Plus if you research the majority of the school shootings you
will find the kids who committed the shootings were under various psychiatric drugs
at the time or were coming off of them.  They are terrible medications with no
scientific proof or test to validate the "chemical imbalance" theory.

Madison Dare Condolence November 25, 2007
Dear Camille,
I signed the petition for Sarina. And for so many others that have been abused by our Medical system.
I know everyone says, "If there is anything I can do...." only there isn't anything that they can. Nothing
ever heals the loss. The emptiness that remains after, a loss, especially that of our children, never can be
filled, or end. Only, time does make it easier.
I got the news of my sons murder on Christmas Eve. Every Christmas for years was a nightmare. I finally
don't celebrate it any longer, it only is a painful reminder of my sorrow. So I do other things. Helping others
is a way to discharge the anger, sorrow and pain. You are doing a wonderful job of this. Take some time
off for yourself, for at least 6 months. Do what you can to care for YOU, because YOU are the hub for your
other children, and as sad as it is for them, they need you for the REST of their lives. And only YOU can be there
for them. So as you heal, and the pain and sorrow subsides, and the ANGER dissipates, you will have joy return
and the family you have will heal, and find things to be ever so grateful for.
I am grateful each day for the sunsets on the Sandias, and for the beautiful skies here. And for old friends, and new ones,
but each day, I remember my son, my first born, his funny ways, and laughter. It's a gift I give myself.
May you be healed, recover and
richly blessed.
Sincerely,
Madison Dare
Joie Michaels Condolence November 25, 2007
This is Joie Michaels. I'm not sure if you remember me. We met the day Sarina had left her car right by starbucks and she and I chatted for a few hours. Your daughter was vibrant, beautiful, and intelligent. These are things you already know, of course, but I just want you to know that she made those around her feel welcome and comfortable. I only wish that I had known about this sooner. Unfortunately, I lost my father two days before you lost Sarina, and spent some time in Chicago as well as some time quite isolated. I just want you to know that if you need anything, any volunteers for your foundation, or anyone to just raise hell with congress, please let me know. I also want you to know that you are an incredibly strong and brilliant mother. I see where Sarina got it from. I'm so sorry for your loss and I am speechless right now.

Take care and I will keep you in my thoughts,

Joie

Julie Parker Condolence November 25, 2007
I lost my father and Aunt to suicide and I know the pain of that loss. Was it something I did or did not do?
Could I have been a better daughter or niece? Why did they not reach out?
In your case the prescription caused feelings of suicide, But why were those drugs made available?
Why was she even on these types of meds? I think this is a story only you can tell.
I work for StellarVision.TV and we have a lifeskills 411 luncheon on Dec 8th.
With your permission I would like to suggest the proiducers create a documentary about Your daughter told by you so that other parents don't have to suffer the pain you are feeling.

I think both sites can get your message out
I can't guarantee they will be interested but I think it is worthy of being heard.
Sincerely Yours,

Dian Diaz Condolence November 25, 2007
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.  I will definitely sign your petition.  My mother has been taking anti-depressants for over a couple years & I know first hand as well, how dangerous they can be. There are to many of those kind of drugs that stop working after a while, and the people prescribing these drugs don't monitor there patients as well as they should.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

I'm so sorry about Sarina. I see beautiful images of her with a little girl. Does she have a daughter? If so, is there a fund to help with her needs? I will add Sarina and the family to my prayers. Thanks, Tammy
